Are My Details Secure?..
|
As
soon as you access the 'checkout' or 'login' pages, your Internet browser
will go into secure mode (i.e. before you enter any personal or payment
details). You can tell whether a page is secure, as 'https' will replace
the 'http' at the front of the www.ukpumpsupplies.co.uk in your browser
address window. A small locked padlock will also appear in the bottom bar
of your browser window. Our secure mode uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details. In this way, information passed between your computer and us cannot be read in the unlikely event of someone intercepting it. |
